ICT Asyst Pty Ltd (ABN 71 622 674 257) (“ICT Asyst”, “we”, “us”) provides IT support and managed IT services to businesses and medical centres across Melbourne. We respect your privacy and handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we look after it, and how you can access or correct it. It applies to our website, ictasyst.com.au, and to our dealings with clients, prospective clients and suppliers.
We only collect personal information we need to help you. Most of it comes straight from you.

When we work on your systems. To fix a problem or manage your devices, we may be able to see information stored on them, including emails, files and, for medical centres, health information. We only access what we need to do the job you asked for, we don’t copy or keep it unless the work requires it, and we treat it as confidential.
Cookies and analytics. Our website uses cookies. Google Analytics helps us understand how people use the site, for example which pages are visited and whether someone clicks to call us. Google reCAPTCHA helps block spam on our contact form. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not then work properly.
Dealing with us anonymously. You can browse our website without telling us who you are. To help with an IT problem, though, we will need your name and a way to contact you.

Overseas. Some of these providers, such as Microsoft, Google and Cloudflare, may store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States. We use well-known providers that protect information to standards similar to Australia’s.
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. These include secure connections (HTTPS), multi-factor authentication, access only for staff who need it, security monitoring, and regular backups. We keep website enquiries for up to 2 years. When we no longer need personal information, we securely delete or de-identify it, unless the law requires us to keep it.
If a data breach is likely to cause you serious harm, we will tell you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC), as the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme requires.
We will only send you marketing emails if you have agreed to receive them or would reasonably expect them. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us to stop at any time.
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it. Contact us using the details below. We will respond within 30 days. If we can’t give you access, we’ll explain why.
